CockRock is an annual three day 5000 capacity grass roots festival held in Cockermouth Cumbria. The festival now in its 6th year is situated on the edge of the Lake District with full panoramic views of the Cumbrian Fells and a friendly atmosphere that is second to none!

The festival is non profit which has been set up to help provide support in the way of funding for two great local causes, The Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance and the Cockermouth Mountain Rescue and to encourage and promote local bands and musicians.

The continued and vital contribution of UK festivals to the British economy has been demonstrated once again by this year’s survey of more than 4,700 festival goers undertaken by the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF). Despite the worst recession in decades the UK Festival market has shown itself to be remarkably buoyant as Britons love affair with partying al fresco shows little sign of abating.
