We’re even more excited than usual about 2010 as it’ll be the 10th Summer Sundae Weekender. What started out as a humble one-day affair in De Montfort Hall gardens in 2001, held over two stages, headlined by Morcheeba and featuring 14 bands, has now grown into the Midlands’ best weekend of music and more.

In 2009, more than 6,000 visitors a day enjoyed over 100 artists perform across six stages. With bands as diverse as the well-established The Charlatans and The Zutons, classic pop-songsters Lightning Seeds and Radio 1 favourites Frank Turner and Mr Hudson, there really was something for everyone.

As well as the fantastic musical line-up, Summer Sundae has tons of other things going on, including comedy, spoken word, silent discos, chill-out areas, Camping, quality food and drink and a kids zone.
