His constant inventive mind has bought his talents to many junctions including…the Instant BBQ!..Millions are sold each year and every time it is used there is that same old problem…Where shall we place it?

In fact the Instant BBQ is a great invention. Cheap to buy, easy to obtain and once used can be recycled with no mess, fuss or cleaning!!

Without his normal BBQ one day Giles needed to get an instant BBQ PDQ. Once purchased he could not find anywhere to use it and in typical style got an old chrome towel rail sliced and diced it till he had fashioned the BBQ stand. after a very successful instant BBQ, he left it at that! Time after time he used the stand with a great response and so thought he would Market it….but what to call it.

Invited by a colleague to a Restaurant in Manchester call the Gaucho Grill and whilst relaying the story of the BBQ stand came across the introduction to the restaurant in the menu. Where in it stated that the Gauchos’s used a grill know as the ‘ASADO” to grill their prime Argentinean steaks on. Fate had played it’s course!

The Asado Grill today allows you to cook anywhere using the Instant BBQ, Great for festivals, Camping, picnic concerts, balconies, boats, parks, caravanning, beaches or home. Just drop one in and light it up. The stand can be placed on glass, metal or plastic tables without fear of burning the surface.
The Asado Grill can be used in smaller spaces that may not be able to have conventional BBQ’s. We feel the instant BBQ is under valued, once in our stand it looks great and with the invention of smokeless charcoal you can happily cook at the table with ease, take away or leave it on your eating area, or even just use it for heating.

Most portable BBQ grills are actually a pain.

Once you have bought a portable BBQ grill it may look nice and clean and very user friendly but then you have to start buying the charcoal in a BIG BAG and the lighter fuel in a BIG BOTTLE and then cart it all off to your destination… Not cheap or very portable!
Once there you have to unpack it or construct it use some charcoal and some lighter fluid and cook your food.
Once finished and you have had a good feed, this is all well and good but the problem of the now greasy grill and the dirty smelly bbq has to go back in your car. And when you get home it is either placed in the Garage for cleaning NEXT time or you do have to wash it!!!
NOW the portable BBQ is not so appealing!!!!
With the Asado Grill you take the frame to you destination find a convenience store on the way… buy an instant BBQ, get to your destination, place it in the stand and light. Cook your food sit back and enjoy your BBQ picnic.
Pour water on the BBQ once used to put out any coals and place in the nearest bin or recycling unit..
wipe the stand down if it needs it and leave!!!
