The Square Festival – 24th-26th July 2009

We at The Square Festival are committed to creating a unique and bold party experience. Come join our seaside disco in 2009 :: just 200m from an award winning beach and a pebbles throw from the train station, Lets get fluffy in a field.

In 2009 The Square Festival will have 5 music stages, here is an idea of how they will take shape;

The Main Stage will be the only outdoor stage and will be hosting the headlining acts like Supergrass, Mc Soom T and The Beat.

The Naked Stage will host the finest and freshest in new music from the UK and abroad. The stage has a volcano design on the outside, with white manikins and bubbles hanging from chains on the inside. Punk/ indie/ rock/ psychadelic/ electro/ house/other

The K-os Audio Visual Stage, will be programmed by the creators of www.k-os.net, first online in ’99, K-os.net was created for the purpose of showcasing new music demos – a dedicated website providing a free place for artists to publish their work when myspace was just a twinkle in the eye. As a result of this background there will be a wide selection of underground artists performing on this stage, ranging from those who are well known to some of the more underground acts that feature on K-os net.

The Backbeating Stage will play host to an intimate corner of the festival where you will find musical treats with their roots in foreign soil. Famous for their hospitality and positive energy, Backbeating will bring you artists ranging from gypsy, klezmer, ska, afro-beat, reggae and more.

The Kontrol Stage will fill your life with drum and bass, non-stop, throughout the duration of the festival. Commitment and knowledge to the cause will be showcased beautifully.

tickets are £25 1  day or £45 for 3 days
