The Prodigy have confirmed to headline at this years event on the 12-14th June 2009.
Their new album is out next month and i think this is gonna be a big year for the Prodigy who seem to back on form. You tube their Invaders Must Die Video here. Also headlining are Basement Jaxx, Pendulum and The Ting Tings.

Their Law
The Prodigy are renowned for their performances and are set to deliver their adrenaline-pumping anthems to the crowds, as they take headline spot at the Isle of Wight Festival 2009. The Prodigy said, “Lookin’ forward to rockin’ the Isle of Wight! Brand new tunes and the first festi of the Summer…”

Ahead of The Prodigy on the main stage will be Basement Jaxx; get set to ’Jump N’ Shout’ as the South London duo bring their high-energy performances to the island. Renowned for bringing the house down, they’re sure to deliver a mind-blowing set that leaves fans begging for more!

Australian drum and bass gods, Pendulum, will take you to ‘The Otherside’ as they bring their unique sounds to the Festival. Having previously remixed for The Prodigy, they will join their friends on the bill, and take to the main stage for a night of musical madness!
