Where: Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare. Ireland
Originally a 2 day festival Oxegen was increased to 3 days in 2008 and has an average attendance of around 80,000 a day, with most people camping on site for the duration. The festival has attracted attention from outside Ireland, with many of those attending travelling from overseas. It is organised by the same people who put on T in the Park.
Oxegen is Ireland’s biggest three day rock festival, and first opened it’s gates in 2004. It was previously called Witnness Festival which started in 2000.
With 5 main stages hosting an eclectic line up, it’s more than enough to satisfy the 80k visitors attending each day!
